PROJECTS
We create and implement community projects that empower
people to improve their quality of life and standard of living.

One of our teams assists "The Ecuador Project", a nonprofit that contributes to the stability of orphanage. We manufacture bracelets for sale in US. Recently procured 6 laptops and earned $2,000 grant to send 3 of our students to ecuador to set up computer lab.
Patchwork Epiphany
Project Leader: Noelle Cornelio | ncornel2@uncc.edu
This project organizes groups of UNC Charlotte volunteers to teach art at the Levine Children’s Hospital. The children’s and student instructors’ artwork is annually displayed at a dessert reception in uptown Charlotte. This is the second year of involvement with LCH, and Patchwork Epiphany hopes to build off last year’s model. We hope to silently auction the student art instructor’s work at the reception to raise money for LCH. This initiative will draw community attention to the kids at LCH and to the healing power of art.
Transitions (Forward Accessories)
Project Leader: Marisa Hicklen | mhicklen@uncc.edu
Transitions is partnered with the Center for Community Transitions (also known as the CCT) to develop and market a handmade jewelry line. The CCT is private 30-bed facility that helps women to make the transition from incarceration to freedom through workshops, job preparation, and life classes. Our role is to help to develop and market their handmade jewelry line called Forward Accessories so that the women have a sustainable source of income as well as helping the CCT become financially stable.

Training students to run effective marketing campaigns. Helping entrepreneurs implement online marketing strategies to drive growth for their business or nonprofit. Aiming to become a revenue driver for Enactus.
Project Reach
Project Leader: Marie Dor | mdor@uncc.edu
Project Reach is a program that is an extension of Lemonade Day that allows volunteers with UNC Charlotte to connect with students in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community. In 2007, founder Michael Holthouse had a vision to empower today’s youth to become tomorrow’s entrepreneurs through helping them start, own and operate their very own business…a lemonade stand. Project Reach will be organizing, collecting, and training volunteers to work with students in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community develop business skills and applying these skills in a lemonade stand.
Computer Recycling Project
Project Leader: Evan Schalton | eshalto@uncc.edu
This project will design a process for scrubbing, disassembling and recycling computers and electronics obtained from a contract with Wells Fargo & Bank of America corporate offices in Charlotte. The recycled metal will be turned for a profit using the same business model and distribution channels as Springback Recycling Charlotte and the workforce will be comprised of individuals who can not otherwise find employment.
Events Committee
Chairperson: Raehanna Evans | revans33@uncc.edu
The Events Committee is a project that reaches to help everyone understand professionalism not only in a work environment but other places as well. We plan the annual Belk College Etiquette Dinner, The Enactus Networking Events & any fundraising initiatives. These events are to prepare young students in the Belk College of Business and or Enactus to obtain knowledge on how to approach certain situations in the appropriate manner. In this project one learns how to organize and plan everything for a specific event. The positions in the Events Committee are dependent upon one's interest, what one would like to do to contribute to the event as a whole. It will also challenge one to go above and beyond their comfort zone and attempting new tasks.
