Mission Statement

To empower individuals who have persevered despite roadblocks, through entrepreneurship and capital raising. 

 

 

Description: 

Transitions is partnered with the Center for Community Transitions (also known as the CCT) to develop and market a handmade jewelry line.  The CCT is private 30-bed facility that helps women to make the transition from incarceration to freedom through workshops, job preparation, and life classes.  Our role is to help to develop and market their handmade jewelry line called Forward Accessories so that the women have a sustainable source of income as well as helping the CCT become financially stable.  

 

 

Current Goals & Updates: 

This year our main goals are to implement green aspect of the project, develop jewelry tags, and create and e-commerce website.    

• Certification Class for new members to work with CCT women

• Implement Newspaper Bags

• Selling at I-Fest 2014

• Grants : Unilever, Walmart

• Design and Print Jewelry Tags

• Create E-Commerce Website
