Patchwork Epiphany

Weekly Meetings:  Mondays 5pm in the Student Union

Project Time Requirement:  3 hours/week

 

This project organizes groups of UNC Charlotte volunteers to teach art at the Levine Children’s Hospital. The children’s and student instructors’ artwork is annually displayed at a dessert reception in uptown Charlotte. This is the second year of involvement with LCH, and Patchwork Epiphany hopes to build off last year’s model. We hope to silently auction the student art instructor’s work at the reception to raise money for LCH.  This initiative will draw community attention to the kids at LCH and to the healing power of art.

 

Open positions: social media coordinator, business corespondent, event planner
